Charlie Francis – Managing Director

The joint founder and owner, Charlie has over 22 years’ experience in the construction industry starting with an associate diploma in business studies, working as a concrete company’s junior accountant with a passion for the construction process. Shortly after joining the construction team, Charlie was promoted to the senior team of supervisors and was entrusted in competently managing a team of form workers, concreters, and steel fixers. The company grew into a construction and building company in which Charlie became the site supervisor before quickly moving into project management. In 2009, Charlie joined a growing civil company, project managing the civil works for electrical sub-stations, excavation, demolition, residential, and industrial. From 2013 to 2017, Charlie project managed residential units, townhouses, duplexes, commercial and industrial properties before co-founding Pillarstone Projects in 2018.
Joseph Roumie – Managing Director

The joint founder and owner, Joseph started his plumbing apprenticeship in 1988 working for a plumbing company on high rise office blocks, hospitals, serviced hotels, for Tier 1 building companies such as Multiplex, Grocon, and Lendlease. After completing his apprenticeship, Joseph became started his own company and has since worked on commercial warehouses, schools, government buildings, local councils, and residential properties. Joseph has extensive experience in all drainage, sewage, essential services, excavation, and civil works, still working for various clients from Tier 1 contractors to residential home owners before co-founding Pillarstone Projects in 2018.
John Dahdah – Construction Manager

Our newest member of our team, John brings a wealth of experience to Pillarstone Projects. With 30 years’ experience in the industry, beginning as an Apprentice Carpenter and developing himself to a Construction Manager with Tier 1 builders, he has worked on some of the most iconic projects in Sydney. Having managed and lead a wide range of projects ranging up to $120M in value, his skillset and experience will assist Pillarstone Projects in all aspects of construction and head contract works. Having worked with high profile clients and projects, John understands the importance of client engagement and management to deliver safely to specifications, budget, and schedule.
